Project Overview

Amber Grand Residence started as a bare living and dining space in Lagos, transformed into a warm, layered retreat built around light and texture. The brief was simple: a space that felt luxurious without feeling cold or overdone, somewhere the client could actually live in, not just look at.

• A sculptural chandelier anchors the dining area, casting warm light across the whole room.
• Walnut wood panelling on the media wall adds depth and warmth against the neutral palette.
• Layered rugs and soft furnishings bring texture without overwhelming the space.
• Every fixture, from the floor lamps to the built-in shelving, was chosen to feel intentional, not decorative.

Key Elements of the Design

Every choice in this project was made to balance warmth with restraint. Nothing in the room competes for attention, but every piece earns its place. The result is a living and dining area that feels considered from every angle.

• Warm wood tones paired with soft neutral upholstery for a grounded, inviting feel.
• Concealed and ambient lighting used throughout, so the space feels lit rather than illuminated.
• A cohesive material palette (walnut, marble, and brushed brass) carried consistently across the room.
• Custom-built storage that keeps the space clean and functional without sacrificing style.

Regular site visits were made throughout the build to check progress, catch issues early, and make real-time calls on placement and finish, the kind of hands-on attention that’s hard to get when a project gets handed between departments.

Bringing It All Together

The goal throughout was cohesion: making sure the dining area, media wall, and seating all read as one considered space rather than separate zones. Textures and tones were repeated across the room so nothing feels out of place, while small personal touches were layered in to keep it from feeling like a showroom.
